About Hidden Lake Retreat:

Hidden Lake Retreat started out as a dream. Judith sought places in Oregon where she could be on extended silent retreat, where she would  be supported in doing deep inner work. Lauri longed for a place in nature where she could weave the energies of the earth with her shamanic sound healing. Their combined vision emerged over time as they searched for a place that would serve as a sacred container for all who came.

When they purchased the property, the land and original lodge were in need of loving attention. They renovated the existing home and added a private wing.  In 2008 they added a 24-foot yurt to facilitate group work, and in 2010, a new lakeside cottage with healing space, accommodations, and infrared sauna will be available.

They continue to tend the land. The lodge still retains its original turn-of-the-century rustic charm, but with an elegance that feeds the eye and the soul. The land and lake sing with a revived vibrancy and sweet peace. All who come to the land contribute to this vibrancy, as ceremony,  personal growth, and revitalization of the human spirit unfold and provide nourishment to the land and sacred spaces here at Hidden Lake.

Bodhi, Judith and Lauri's black lab, and the two kitties, Tiger and Cali, contribute to people's retreat experience. Many guests have shared each of these animals has played a key role in their stay here. They welcome everyone with great joy, and are also trained to leave you quietly alone while you are on retreat.

It is their heartfelt intent that you feel that you have returned home, that you are cherished and nurtured, and leave rested, nourished and rejuvenated.
